Release CD : Viva la Vida by Coldplay

When Coldplay sampled Kraftwerk on their third album, X & Y was a signifier for the British band, telegraphing their classicist good taste while signaling how they prefer the eternally hip to the real adventure was elegant façade of soft sand rock. The hiring of Brian Eno to produce the bulk of their fourth album, is another matter entirely. Eno pushes, not necessarily to experiment but to refine the approach and not to leave their comfort zone but to find some tremulous discomfort within it. Coldplay to kick off Viva La Vida America tour this May

Having met in its first week at University College London in 1996, the front man Chris Martin and guitarist Jonny Buckland spent their entire first year of planning a banda, starting with the name Pectoralz, but in solving Coldplay years later with other members of the banda Guy Berryman and Will Champion. Since its inception, the original alignment of the band has remained the same over the years, from his brothers and sisters first EP in 1999 for the launch of its latest studio album, Viva La Vida or Death and all his friends in 2008. Coldplay won its first true taste of mainstream success with their hit "Yellow", and have found continued success since.

Viva La Vida tour will begin on May 15, kicking off the leg of North America in West Palm Beach, Florida, and playing a total of 46 performances during the tour of the whole.
